Approximate Dimensions:

1. This 6 drawer storage bed is 4″ longer and 4″ wider than a standard sized mattress
2.  The sides and ends sit on the floor and are 14″ tall
3.  The drawer faces overlap the side frames of the bed. They are opened by pulling on the bottom of the drawer faces.
4.  The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs
5.  The bed is configured for a mattress resting on slats at the same level as the top of the sides. The Queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is 1.5″. 20 slats are provided.
6.  The Full and larger sizes have 6 drawers and the Twin size normally has 3 drawers but has the option for 6 drawers. Drawer box sides are 9″ tall. The drawers glide on side mount steel ball bearing drawer slides.
7.  Drawer bottoms are of high quality 1/4″ plywood

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
