Platform bed with fabric headboard approximate dimensions:

1. The bed is 9″ longer and 6″ wider than a standard sized mattress
2. The fabric headboard features Organic Hemp webbing on a frame angled away from the bed frame by 8 degrees.
3. Webbing material is 2″ wide webbing from Rawganique
4. Straight platform bed posts are standard with taper at bottom to 1″ by 1″ inches with 2.6″ by 2.6″ inch mid section plus adjustable bottoms for uneven floors
5. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs
6. The Queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is shown in the second photo. The space between the slats is 1.5″.
7. The height from the floor to top of the sides is 16″
8. The height from the floor to the mattress bottom is 15″
9. The height from the floor to the bottom of sides or ends is 8″
10. The height from the floor to the top of the head board above the floor is 46″
11. A King size web headboard bed has a third support in the center

Platform Bed with organic Hemp webbing features all hardwood construction. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain platform bed finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. For an added charge you can have stain applied prior to the Tung Oil finish on this bed with fabric headboard. More detail can be found at our Finish Options and Stain Choices pages.

Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of this fabric headboard bed.
