Over the years we have received dozens of calls and emails from people that have purchased particle board furniture from big box stores such as Ikea, Home Depot or Costco asking if we can help them repair peeling surfaces, chipped corners or bubbled veneer.  The answer in most cases is “no” because once a piece of particle board starts to expand due to exposure to moisture, there is simply no way for a consumer or even an experienced furniture repair company to make that material go back to its original form.
