Build Quality

No veneer or particle board is used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

For an added charge you can have stain applied prior to the Tung Oil finish. More detail can be found at our Finish Options and Stain Choices pages. Cost is shown in the drop down menu above.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
