Loft bed with built in dresser, two desks and shelves packs highly efficient organization into a small footprint. Photos show a Queen sized loft and this bed can be built with any standard size mattress. Contact Us to request almost any change that you would like.

Dimensions

  1. Total bed length including stairs is 25" longer than your mattress. Twin/Full = 100" long. Queen/King = 105"
  2. The bed is 6" wider than a standard size mattress
  3. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on support slats. The space between the slats is about 1.5.”
  4. The top of the bed platform surface is 59" above the floor
  5. The head clearance under the platform is 57" above the floor
  6. The upper side-board is 10" above the top of the bed platform and is 7" tall
  7. Stairs are located on the foot-end of the bed and span the total width as shown in the photo
  8. The angle of the slope of the stairs is about 15 degrees from vertical (75 degrees from horizontal).
  9. The structure of the bed uses bolts with attractive smooth bronze heads where they are seen
  10. The bed includes a 6 drawer dresser at the head end of the bed. The drawers have dove tail drawer boxes that glide on steel ball bearing glides. The dresser ships assembled.
  11. The bed has a desk at the foot end (stair end) of the bed and a second part of the desk along the wall side of the bed extending to the dresser.
  12. Photos show an optional bedside small table mounted on the top side rail extending out over the walk way below. This is an option that is available for an added $109.
  13. The loft is very strong and sturdy to hold two normal large size adults.

This product meets CPSC specifications. This product is designed for use by adults.

This bed is only to be used with the intended mattress size. If you have a non-conventional mattress size, please contact us for customization.

For safe use of this bed:

  • Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
  • Use guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
  • Prohibit horseplay on or under beds.
  • Use ladder for entering or leaving upper bunk.
  • If bed is to be placed next to a wall, the continuous guardrail that runs the length of the bed should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall.

Build Quality

Our furniture is built to order using time-honored construction methods. We use solid American Hardwood as our primary material - no veneers or compressed particle boards are used. High quality plywood is only used in drawer bottoms, cabinet backs, and some interior support structure where it provides needed dimensional stability.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a highly durable and easy to maintain surface that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

For an added charge stain can be applied prior to the Tung Oil finish. More details can be found at our Finish Options and Stain Choices pages. The cost is shown in the drop down menu above.

Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been harvested for hundreds of years.
