This exceeded all expectations. Lee was extremely easy to reach when assembling the bed and the material is top notch. If you are deciding between a big brad and Lee, go with Lee.
I had a lot of concerns before ordering, so here is my experience. The delivery was painless and easy to arrange. I unpacked the crate, carried everything inside, and set up the bed, all by myself, with no problem. I am a 64 y.o. male. I believe a smaller-stature person could have done everything alone except maybe carry the headboard. So don't hesitate, it's a premium bed at a bargain price! Your $$ stay in America, and the sellers are sooo nice!
Phenomenal quality and design, you can tell the bed frame was built and finished with care. Even the slats are made from nice quality maple (one of the slats had beautiful "flame" figuring, I couldn't believe such a nice piece of wood was being used for a bed slat!). I ordered some stain samples to select a finish, and when I ordered the bed I was even asked to send the stain sample back so they could ensure the finished bed would match the sample. That's an impressive level of attention to detail and craftsmanship. Assembly was a breeze, the bed came with good quality screws, not the cheap zinc stuff. The bed slats even had pilot holes pre-drilled. I wouldn't hesitate to buy furniture from this seller again.
We love this bed! The pic doesn’t do it justice! There was a slight bit of difference in the directions, but I was able to call Lee and he helped us figure everything out and we were able to put the bed together in a relatively short period of time. It was like the IKEA master class ?. Everything went smoothly from ordering to communication to delivery. Lee was there every step of the way if we needed him and he was even able to delay shipment a week since we were on vacation once the frame was ready to ship. I would very highly recommend this shop; the quality is amazing and the frame is more beautiful than I could have imagined. I’m am extremely satisfied, to say the least!

Modern platform bed includes a rail detail at the top of the headboard and the same rail style at the foot of the bed. The foot end has a rail at the floor. Like all of our furniture, this bed is custom made for you. Please contact us with any questions.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.
Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. For an added charge you can have stain applied prior to the Tung Oil finish. More detail can be found at our Finish Options and Stain Choices pages.
Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
