From the beginning of the order to my husband and I receiving this piece: Lee Bauman and his team have been nothing but professional. Incredibly kind, fast communication time, taking any of our concerns, questions or comments seriously and using utmost care with the purchasing, delivery, instructions, and everything in between. I cannot recommend purchasing from Lee enough. The craftsmanship, quality and love on his pieces simply EXUDES from every single pore of his creations. We are looking forward to both the trundle -bed-couch and our CA King frame lasting for a lifetime knowing the care that went into them!

How does a pull-lift trundle bed work?
The pull-lift trundle is a customer favorite because of the flexibility that it provides:
The same bed without armrests is NtRnS1.
Daybed with trundle approximate Dimensions:
The trundle can be used in the position that is low to the floor as is shown in the 3rd photo. Or it can be used raised so that both mattress bottoms are at the same level. When the trundle is raised it easily attaches to the upper frame with pegs. Thus, the two mattresses are held rigidly in position relative to each other. The distance between the sides of the two mattresses is about 1.5″. This gap can be filled with a foam strip. The support boards for the lifted trundle are attached under the trundle and stored there when not in use. When the trundle is lifted they swing down on hinges. The two mattresses butt together when the trundle is raised.
No veneers or compressed particle boards are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.
Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. For an added charge you can have stain applied prior to the Tung Oil finish. More detail can be found at our Finish Options and Stain Choices pages.
Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
Production and sale of this product helps the economy of Appalachia where jobs are scarce and people are skilled in working with natural materials.
