Canopy Bed with tall legs and arched headboard. This bed is for people that prefer a tall bed platform or would like extra storage space under the bed. The bed is custom made for you. Contact Us to request almost any change that you would like.

 The bed shown in the photos features 15″ from the floor to the start of the side rails. This dimension can be changed to your order.

Canopy bed with tall legs approximate dimensions:

1. The height of the top of the headboard is 57″ above the floor
2. The sides and footboard are 6″ tall with the bottom about 15″ above the floor
3. The canopy posts are 2.8″ x 2.8″ square in the mid section and are 84″ tall. They are tapered at the bottom and the top as is shown in the photos on 4 sides. The top rails are 1.5″ square, making floor to canopy top almost 86″.
4. The customer must provide a foundation support to be placed on the 5 support beams shown in the photos. The top of the support beams is about 1.5″ below the top of the sides.
5. If no foundation or box springs,  2.5″ wide slats that run in the head to foot direction are furnished for an added $150. The space between the slats is about 1.5″. The top of the slats is about 20.5″ above the floor for this platform configuration.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.
