We LOVE our bed frame. It was finally time to ditch our old Ikea bed frame and invest in something that was handmade with real wood and would last us decades. We couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship and quality of the frame. It's nicer, more unique and less expensive than any equivalent we considered at West Elm or Crate & Barrel and felt better to support an independent maker vs a big box store. The frame came well packed in a shipping crate and wasn't too hard to put together although you definitely want two people for assembly. Thank you, Lee!
Lee made this bed, but customized it to my mattress size, as well as minus adjustments so the mattress would lay completely flat on top of the bed. I love that he offers oil options for the wood. 100% chemical free. He also installed key locks on the drawers to my request. I was worried about this making the bed look ugly, but he chose small tasteful locks that blend with the color of the wood and you an barely see. I'm extremely happy with Lee's work, ad i consider myself very picky. It is high quality , beautiful, and functional. I will be ordering more custom work from Lee. Thank you lee and Barbara!

The bed is beautiful. The quality of it is unbelievable, and Lee and Barbara were very patient and helpful with all of my questions regarding customization options. We chose cherry wood with a Dark Walnut stain. The delivery took about a month longer than expected, but it was worth it in the end. My boyfriend and I were able to put it together in several hours. It was relatively straightforward, and now we know how to disassemble and reassemble it for the next time we move. We are hoping we don’t have to buy another bed anytime soon! We will definitely be back to buy our next piece of furniture from Lee.
We are so happy with our bed, we received it yesterday. It took us a couple hours to assemble, the directions were very clear and my husband had the skills and tools. Overall a really good experience with exceeding expectations results. It did take longer than expected - however totally expected based on current times. Lee was great in communicating delays. Lee built my bed as per my specifications, including the beveled edge and the head board with the cutouts. The bed is really sturdy and won't make noises at night. It is very beautiful. Been sleeping like a king on it for a few weeks now and I would order this all over again. Putting the bed together takes a a few hours (wiping the wood, etc.) but the instructions provided are precise. It is a heavy, build-to-last bed. If you are looking for something special and are not afraid of building things, contact Lee. Communicating with him is clear and easy.

Beautiful, well-made bed! Lee helped to customize it by leaving the headboard squared, which gave the bed more of a mid-century look. I also like that it came with more slats than platform beds usually do, which helps when using a thinner mattress, like shikibuton.

Excellent bed. Solid as a rock and will last a lifetime. My wife and I originally purchased this one (four drawer model) but ended up going with NdFvS01-6 (six drawer model). As is explained in the description, modifications can easily be made upon request. We added 3" to the drawer height for a small fee as we wanted some additional storage space in the drawers. We went with the wormy maple and it looks almost exactly like the 6 drawer one (NdFvS01-6) in the picture. Just awesome. Can't say enough good things about this bed. I shopped for weeks looking for a solid WOOD bed, not some cheesy particle board nonsense with veneer just asking to be banged up resulting in a shabby appearance. Looked at 100s of beds. We settled on this one because of the sleek design, looks, storage, and price. Thanks Lee, excellent work man!
I have been so impressed with Lee throughout this whole process. I received the bed within the time frame quoted and was so impressed with the care taken during packing! Freight was quick (to MA) and the crate could not have been fit together more thoughtfully. Putting the bed together took a bit but my husband and I actually had a good time doing it! Lee provided very extensive directions with photos to reference. He also provided his number should we need help at any step. There was one misunderstanding during ordering and I was absolutely blown away by the generosity and service Lee provided in response. We love our new bed! We got it in Walnut! It is beautiful!! We had it shipped to us in Jacksonville,FL before we moved to Japan! It arrived when it said it was and delivery was very easy to set up! Damn fine piece of furniture. Every time I look at it, I am proud of how beautiful and tasteful it is. The construction is precise, and the design is clever. Arrives in a large crate, with many parts partially assembled. Took around 6 hours for 1 person to unpack/move/assemble. I recommend you have someone to help, and use a power tool. Both will make the process much faster and easier. Lee has been very responsive and helpful throughout. He sent very detailed assembly instructions. Also sent out a replacement guide rail I'd bent, free of charge. Very happy with this purchase; likely the last bed I'll ever buy.
We love this bed! The pic doesn’t do it justice! There was a slight bit of difference in the directions, but I was able to call Lee and he helped us figure everything out and we were able to put the bed together in a relatively short period of time. It was like the IKEA master class ?. Everything went smoothly from ordering to communication to delivery. Lee was there every step of the way if we needed him and he was even able to delay shipment a week since we were on vacation once the frame was ready to ship.
