Platform bed with headboard approximate dimensions:

1. 1. The bed is 3.5″ longer and 3.5″ wider than a standard sized mattress
   2. The bed listed is for use without box springs in a platform configuration
   3. The bottom of the mattress is 11.5″ above the floor
   4. The bottom of the side boards are 6.5″ above the floor and the side boards are 6″ tall. So the top of the sides are 12.5″ above the floor.
   5. The Queen, King and Cal King sizes have a center support under the slats that is shown in the photos. The center support beam has short legs that go to the floor.
   6. The four bed posts are 2.8″ square at mid sections with taper on the bottoms and levelers on the bottom
   7. The top of the headboard is 48″ above the floor. The bottom of the headboard is below the top of your mattress.
   8. The headboard has the pattern of boards that is shown in the photos.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
