This simple and elegant bed features a roll-out Trundle to provide the flexibility of an extra mattress in your bedroom. This bed is available in a wide variety of options including various head and footboard configurations as well as bed post options.

The most popular configuration of a Trundle bed is a Twin XL or Full XL on top, and a regular Twin or Full for the Trundle. This is available for no extra cost. If you want to use an upper mattress that is the same length as the Trundle mattress, then the upper length is about 4? longer than needed for the mattress. There are multiple options of what to do with that extra space. Please contact us to discuss these options.

Approximate Dimensions:

1. The floor to the bottom of the upper mattress is 20″
2. The trundle face height is 13″
3. The height of the top of the headboard to above the floor is 51″
4. Trundle is designed to be used with a 8? thick mattress. Thicker mattresses by special request.
5. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for the upper mattress resting on slats with tops about 2″ below the top of the sides. The space between the slats is about 1.5″. 20 slats are provided.
6. The Trundle rolls on 6 wheels. The Trundle also has about 20 slats. The level of the Trundle slats is positioned so that when the Trundle is raised, the bottom of the Trundle mattress is at the same height as the bottom of the upper mattress.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
