This bed’s tall headboard makes a statement by showing off the natural hardwood color and grain pattern and can be ordered with a flat or arched headboard top. The bed is custom made for you. Contact Us to request almost any change that you would like.

Approximate Dimensions:

1. The bed is 2.5″ wider and 4″ longer than a standard sized mattress
2. The height of the top of the sides off the floor is 14″ with the side and foot end boards “? tall and 7” above the floor
3. The floor to top of headboard measurement at center is 55″
4. You can also request the headboard with top cap an arch, where the top of the arch will be 60” – just add a note on your order.
5. The head posts are 2.7″ square
6. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs
7. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on 20 slats spaced 1.5″. The top of the slats is 1″ below the top of the sides. A center support beam will be under the slats for the Queen and larger sizes. The beam will have 4 legs to the floor.

• Photos 1-3 are Walnut finished with Tung Oil
• Photos 4-5 show Cherry with no stain finished with Tung Oil.
• Photos 6-9  show Cherry with dark brown color stain finished with Tung Oil

No plywood or veneers are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
