1. The bed is 8″ longer and 4″ wider than a standard sized mattress
2. The bed provided by this listing is for use without box springs in a platform configuration
3. 20 slats are provided with 1.5″ space between the slats for the platform configuration
4. The top of the slats and the bottom of the mattress is 17″ above the floor
5. The center support beam has 3 or 4 short legs that go to the floor
6. Top of the flat head board above the floor is 48″
7. The bottom of the side boards above the floor are 8″
8. The top of the side boards above the floor are 18″
9. The top of the foot board above the floor is 19″
10. The top of the slats above the floor for platform is 17″ or for box springs is 10″
11. The four bed posts are 2.8″ square at mid sections with taper on the bottoms and levelers on the bottom
12. The top of the headboard is 48″ above the floor. The bottom of the headboard is 7″ above the top of the slats.
13. The headboard has two panels standard. But you can request 4 panels instead.
14. The Queen, King and California King sizes have a center support under the slats that is shown in the photos.

The photos show Cherry wood with no color added and finished with Tung Oil.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
