Approximate Dimensions:

1. The bed is 9″ longer and 4.5″ wider than a standard sized mattress
2. The top of the head posts are about 48″ above the floor
3. The drawers glide on steel ball bearing drawer slides
4. The height of the top of the slats is 16″
5. The drawer boxes are 10.5″ tall inside. The drawer boxes are about 19″ wide inside (for Queen or King) and about half of the width of the bed long.
6. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on slats 1″ lower than the top of the sides (except the forth photo). Photo 4 ph shows a bed with the slats recessed 5″ (type a note with your order if you want more recess than 1″). The Queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is 1.5″. 20 slats are provided.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.
