1. The bed is 7″ longer and 4″ wider than a standard sized mattress
2. The bed in this listing is in a platform configuration
3. The tops of the slats for this listing are recessed from the top of the side boards by 1 inch
4. The posts provided with this listing are 7 feet tall. You can request different heights if you would prefer. The posts in the photos are 8 feet tall.
5. All 4 posts are 84″ tall, 7″ wide, and 2.5″ deep with adjustable bottoms for uneven floors
6. The side boards and footboard are 10″ tall
7. The bottom of the side and footboards are 12″ off the floor
8. The top of the 12″ thick mattress is 30″ above the floor
9. The headboard is connected to the head posts with a cylinder made of brushed aluminum

13. The mattress rests on 20 slats, the top of which are 2″ below the top of the side boards
14. The Queen or King size has a support under the center of the slats which is a single center beam. The double center beam shown in the photo is an option for use if the top of the slats is recessed more than 2″ from the top of the sides. This enables support without any feet to the floor from the center beam.
15. The floor to the top of the posts is 85″ including the adjustable pads on the bottom for uneven floors. The posts are 7″ wide and 2.5″ deep.
16. The bottom of the side and foot end boards are 10″ from the floor. The side and footboards are 10″ tall.

Build Quality

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.
