Low platform bed with side tables approximate dimensions:

1. The total width of the bed including the headboard is 44″ wider than a standard sized mattress.
2. The total length of the bed is 12″ longer than a standard sized mattress
3. The top of the platform/ bottom of the mattress is 8″ above the floor
4. The side platform extensions are 8″ wide and 10″ wide at the foot end
5. The top of the headboard from the floor = 44.5″
6. The side tables shown in the photos are included. The tables are 14″ wide by 14″ deep by 8″ tall, which is the same height at the top of the mattress base platform.
7. The headboard is angled (away from the the mattress) by about 8 degrees
8. The bed is for use without box springs. The mattress rests on 20 slats. The top of the slats is 1″ below the top of the platform extension. The platform extension is not under the mattress.
9. Queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats. A center support beam will be under the slats for Queen size and larger. The beam will have 4 legs to the floor.
10. Photos 1 show a special order bed made with Walnut and Cherry finished with Tung Oil. Other photos show Walnut finished with Tung Oil

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
