Low platform bed details:

1. The bed is 5″ longer and 3.5″ wider than a standard sized mattress
2. The height from the floor to top of the sides is 6″ (as shown in photos 1-5)
3. Optional taller sides upon request for a small upcharge
4. Height from floor to mattress bottom / top of support slats = 5″
5. The head posts are 2.7″ square and 38″ tall. The center headboard arch is 5″ taller than the side posts.
6. The bed is a platform configuration for use without a box spring. 20 hardwood slats are provided to support the mattress.
7. A center support beam will be under the slats for the Queen and larger sizes. The beam will have 4 legs to the floor.

• Photos 5-6 show Cherry finished with Tung Oil with no color added

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
