This simple and durable low bed platform is perfect for the customer who wants a minimalist bedroom with real-wood class! The bed shown in the photos is 6″ from the floor to the top of the sides, but please note that you can order taller sides, such as 10″ or 12.” The bed is custom made for you. Low bed platform details:

1. The bed is 2.5″ wider and 3.5″ longer than a standard sized mattress
2. The side boards are 6″ tall
3. The bed is for use without box springs. The mattress rests on 20 slats. The top of the slats is 1″ below the top of the sides.
4. The Queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is 1.5″.
5. The photos show Cherry with Dark Walnut stain finished with Tung Oil.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
