Full canopy bed approximate dimensions:

1. The bed is 10″ wider and 10″ longer than a standard sized mattress
2. The sides and ends sit on the floor and are 12″ tall. The bottom of the mattress will be 12″ from the floor.
3. The canopy posts are 2.9″ by 2.9″ square top to bottom and are 84″ tall
4. The top rails are 2.25″ by 2.25″ square
5. The headboard is made of one 22″ tall assembly that is 1.75″ thick around its perimeter. The bottom of the headboard is 6″ above the top of the platform and the top of the headboard is 40″ above the floor. The headboard assembly is attached to the posts with bolts through brushed aluminum tubes as shown in the photos. The footboard is similar to the headboard and is attached in the same way.
6. The bed frame rests on a kick board perimeter that is about 3″ in from the side and end boards.
7. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on slats about 1″ below the top of the sides. The bed has a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is about 1.5″. 20 slats are provided.

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
