Canopy Bed with Cutout Headboard Approximate Dimensions

1. There is 8″ of clearance under the bed. The sides are 10″ tall including trim.
2. The foot end board is taller than the side boards by 4″, including the top cap
   
3. The top of the head board is 49.5″ above the floor, and it’s bottom is 24″ above the floor. The headboard placement can be adjusted for mattress thickness.
   
4. The canopy posts are 2.8″ by 2.8″ square in the mid section and are 84″ tall. They are tapered at the bottom and the top as shown in the photos. The top rails are 1.5″ square which makes the floor to top of the canopy 86.”
5. Canopy rail corners have a square overlap of 1″

6. The bed is in a platform configuration, and is configured for a mattress resting on slats at 17″ above the floor. The King and Queen sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. 20 slats are provided. The space between the slats is 1.5″.

Build Quality

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.
