Canopy Bed with Straight Posts Approximate Dimensions:

1. The sides and end board bottoms are 8″ above the floor and are 10″ tall
2. The head board is a beautiful paneled design. The height of the top of the head board is 48″ above the floor.
3. The canopy posts are 2.8″ by 2.8″ square top to bottom and are 84″ tall. You can choose taper on the posts as well. The top rails are 2.8″ wide.
4. The bed is configured for  box springs resting on slats at 10″ above the floor.
5. The King sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. 5 slats are provided.
6. The photos show this bed made with Cherry with a color added and cherry without color added all finished with Tung oil.

Build Quality

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
