Paneled canopy bed with tapered posts. Tasteful accents make this canopy bed work well with other classy designs that involve inlays and other blocky motifs. Paneled Canopy Bed Approximate Dimensions:

1. The bed is 4″ wider and 6″ longer than a standard sized mattress
2. The floor to the top of  the canopy rails is 86″.  The posts have a 3″ by 3″ midsection, tapering to 1.5″  by 1.5″ at the top and bottom, with adjustable bottoms for uneven floors.
3. The side and foot end bottoms are 8″ from the floor.  The side boards are 10″ tall.  The floor to top of foot board top cap is 37″.
4. The floor to top of headboard top cap is 48″.  The floor to top of foot board top cap is 37″.
5.  The King bed sizes have a center support beam with legs under the slats that is not shown in the photos.
6. This design includes 1″ thick trim on the bottom and top of the side boards and footboard.  You might also like CcRnP9 with additional canopy rails and finials.

Build Quality

No veneer or particle board is used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Our standard finish is Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods. Our hardwood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
