4 Poster Bed with Turned Posts Approximate Dimensions:

1. The sides and end board bottoms are 8″ above the floor. The side boards are 10″ tall.
2. The height of the top of the headboard is 44″ above the floor. The top of the foot board is 21″ above the floor.
3. The canopy posts have a 2.8″ by 2.8″ square mid section and are turned at the top and bottom. The posts are 72″ tall. The bed does not have canopy rails, but can be added upon request.
4. The platform bed uses salts instead of box springs. These slats sit at 15″ above the floor. The king and Queen sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. 20 slats are provided.

Build Quality

No veneers or compressed particle boards are used except for high quality plywood in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs and some interior drawer support structure.

Our standard finish is un-stained wood finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful, highly durable and easy to maintain finish that brings out the natural character and unique grain patterns of our hardwoods.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been sustainably harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is a natural product and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be an exact match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.
